Sarah has been an operator, founder, and investor across financial services and technology for the past 15 years, giving her diverse perspectives and hands-on experience to partner with next-generation AI startups shaping the future of financial and professional services.

Before launching Elsa Capital, Sarah was an early Stripe employee (top 5%) in product, strategy, and finance leadership roles, as Stripe grew from $5B to $100B valuation. She helped build Stripe's flagship product (Stripe Connect), partnered directly with C-level leadership on company-wide strategy, and led fundraising initiatives. Sarah has also been a startup founder, building a fintech company backed by Y Combinator.

Before venturing into tech, Sarah spent 10 years in financial and professional services at leading institutions including Fidelity Investments, T. Rowe Price, Morgan Stanley and BCG. She oversaw $8B in investments in financial and business services companies at Fidelity and helped take Alibaba public in the largest U.S. IPO ever as an investment banker at Morgan Stanley, where she saw firsthand many of the manual tasks that AI could automate today.

Sarah holds an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business, a B.S. dual degree in Bioengineering and Finance, summa cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania, and is a CFA charterholder.

Sarah lives in San Francisco with her husband and two daughters. Outside of work, she loves traveling (she once traveled to six continents in a single year), reading, spending time in nature, and her latest hobby is making art with her girls.
